Description
Rare old stock French silk picot ombre ribbon is unsurpassed for ribbon work leaves and flowers. Ribbon dates from the 1920’s and is woven in a palette of biscuit, ecru and café au lait as shown. Ribbon is available in two widths, 1/2 and 5/8th of an inch. 7 & 1/2 inches of the 1/2th of an inch ribbon makes a beautiful delicate 5 petaled flower as shown in the pictures. There may be the occasional tiny imperfection or pin dot along the length which only adds to the antique charm of this rare French ribbon. Excellent antique condition. Sold by the yard.
